Let us show you our secret spots where we work numerous rock bars, snags and run-offs from dawn til dusk!

Day 1: depart broome

From the historic pearling settlement of Broome, a courtesy vehicle will pick you up from your accommodation at approximately 0800 onwards and transfer you for a flight to join the Kimberley Quest II in the Hunter River. After a short cruise you will have your first chance to catch a barra in the afternoon at the mighty Roe River.

Day 2: roe river

Today we will explore and fish the Roe River - renowned for some of the biggest barramundi and saltwater crocodiles in the Kimberley as well as many species of birds. We will then steam over night to the Prince Regent River.

Over the next two days, we will fish all the way up the mighty Prince Regent River where the salt water meets the fresh water & spend the night at the King Cascade waterfall. This is also a great place to take a refreshing swim at the top of the falls.

Days 5 & 6: walcott inlet

After an overnight steam we will arrive at the Walcott Inlet which is fed by the Charnley, the Isdell and the Calder Rivers. This will be another exciting day fishing the extensive mangrove creeks for big Barra.

Day 7: King sound

Spend your day at King Sound fishing for pelagic fish such as trevally, queen fish & mackerel. Enjoy a sumptuous dinner as you cruise overnight to Broome.

Day 8: broome

Fishin_mediumAfter an early morning breakfast you will disembark the Kimberley Quest II with many memories of the best fishing ever!

*This is only a suggested itinerary. Due to the vast tidal movements and remote terrain of the Kimberley region, Pearl Sea Coastal Cruises cannot guarantee that the itinerary will remain the same. However, during the time you spend with us you will experience many more spectacular places not listed on the itinerary. There will be plenty of opportunities to catch fresh fish for the table as well as land and sightseeing excursions to many untouched places.
