Day 1

A courtesy vehicle will collect you from your accommodation located in the historical pearling settlement of Broome, from here you will be transferred to the C-Quest to begin your Kimberley experience. Once on board the C-Quest you will be given, an orientation tour before relaxing with a welcome cocktail and canapés on the sun deck as you cruise past the famous Cable Beach as the sun is setting, while a mouth watering dinner is being prepared for the evening as you settle in for an overnight cruise.

Day 2

You awake encompassed by a 1000 of largely uninhabited Islands that make up Buccaneer Archipelago. Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast as C-Quest glides into Yampi Sound which is an Aboriginal words meaning "deep water" continue to cruise past Cockatoo and Koolan Islands renown for there Iron Ore mining, onto Crocodile Creek. Here we get to explore the creek, take a dip in a fresh water swimming hole, before heading to Talbot Bay home to the spectacular Horizontal Waterfalls, get up close and personal as you board one of our tenders for a thrilling ride through this tumbling torrent, created by the regions massive tides channelling through two narrow gorges. Anchorage tonight will be in Talbot Bay.

Day 3

Today we venture to Montgomery reef where you will be amazed as Australia's largest inshore reef system all 140sq miles appears to rise out of the water creating a cascade waterfall as the tide exposes this unique eco-system rich in marine life. Winding our way back through Doubtful bay to Ruby Falls where you will have a chance to cool off with a swim in a freshwater swimming hole. After the excitement of today's events sit back and relax under the breathtaking Kimberley night sky.

Day 4

You are in for a cultural experience today as we head to Raft Point. This area was an Aboriginal meeting and ceremonial ground, art work may be found on the west side of the cliffs. After exploring the area we board C-Quest and head north to Langgi. Langgi is home to the ‘Petrified Warriors' another region of significant importance to the Aboriginal people sure to intrigue. Journey back to the vessel to enjoy more fine cuisine prepared by our talented chef and unwind in the spa as we continue on our quest.

Day 5

Start the day exploring Deception Bay or for those who like their fishing get into some ‘fishing action'. As a succulent lunch is prepared from this mornings catch we continue to cruise through Camden Sound pass Kuri Bay home to one of Australia's largest well known and extensive pearl farm. We then arrive in Camden Harbour rich in history, visit the site where the first white European settlement in western Kimberley was attempted in 1864 after facing endless hardship and tragedy the camp was abandoned after less than two years.

Day 6

Welcome to the Prince Regent River and the magnificent Kings Cascade, renowned site of the fatal Ginger Meadows crocodile attack in 1987. This is a fantastic opportunity to capture some spectacular scenery and crocodile spotting. Climb the falls for more breathtaking views and a refreshing swim in a multitude of pristine rock pools. Camp Creek is a beautiful tributary of the Prince Regent also included on the itinerary today well worth exploring! We anchor tonight in St George Basin which has the largest concentration of mangroves in the southern hemisphere.

Day 7

Leaving the vista of the mighty Mt Trafalgar and Mt Waterloo to make our way to Careening Bay, we take an easy trek to the historical site of an ancient boab tree where Phillip Park King's carved ‘HMC Mermaid' in 1820. Onboard we make our way to the mighty Hunter River with its impressive rugged scenic beauty. The Hunter has it all fishing, mud crabbing, bird watching and simply exploring where we will anchor for the evening.

Day 8

Before your final farewell spend the morning with a spot of fishing or a leisurely breakfast. Then is time to depart the vessel by our very own helicopter C-Seeker to enjoy a scenic flight over the magnificent Mitchell Falls. Next, onto the Mitchell Plateau airstrip where your light aircraft will be waiting to transfer you back to Broome. We look forward to the next opportunity to welcome you aboard C-QUEST!

Accommodation in Broome is not included. During the season (May to September) accommodation in Broome is in high demand and we recommend that once your cruise dates have been confirmed, you book accommodation without delay. Helicopter and light aircraft flights from the vessel to Broome or visa versa are included in the cost of the ticket. This itinerary can work in reverse, beginning with the scenic flight from Broome up to the Mitchell Plateau. Due to the influence factors of tide and weather, this itinerary should be used as a guide only and is subject to change.

Price includes: Return airport to hotel transfers, Scenic flight Broome to Mitchell Plateau v.v. and helicopter ride over Mitchell plateau.
