Wildman Wilderness Lodge is located in the lush Top End of Australia's Northern Territory. LODGE FACILITIES
The Wildman Wilderness Lodge experience extends well beyond the adventures of the day. At every waking hour and at every point, you'll be taken care of by our attentive, highly knowledgeable staff and provided with a superior level of service. The world-class communal lodge is the focal point of the resort and epitomises Top End architecture. Designed for maximum comfort throughout the seasons and featuring a spacious lounge bar, it's the ideal place to wind down in the late afternoon. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal with a feeling of comfort and quality. The building's design allows for the free flow of air throughout. It is fully screened and fan-cooled. The spacious lounge bar is air conditioned.
The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and offers sumptuous options showcasing the best seasonal produce from around Australia. Packages including breakfast and dinner are also available in the daily rate.
Environmental best practice technology has been optimised in all operational aspects of the generation of power, and the treatment of water and sewerage, with the aim of creating minimal environmental impact.

Getting There
Located approximately half way between Darwin and Kakadu, 170km by road from the Darwin City. Drive time from Darwin is less than two hours, along the sealed Arnhem Highway.
Head south from Darwin on the Arnhem Highway and turn left off the highway onto the Point Stuart Road, approximately 30km past the landmark "Bark Hut". Point Stuart Road has recently been sealed up to the Wildman turn off, leaving only 7km of "good" compacted gravel road to the Lodge. Once on Point Stuart Road, please take the second road to the left which will take you to Wildman. The first turn off is for the Rockhole and Wildman Ranger Station. Wildman Wilderness Lodge has a bush airstrip with good grass cover that caters for light aircraft or helicopters. Flying time from Darwin is approximately 30 minutes.
Transfers to Wildman
Land Transfers
For those who don't wish to self-drive, Wildman Wilderness Lodge offers a door to door transfer from Darwin hotels and airport. Departing Wildman at 10am on Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays, the transfer arrives into Darwin at approximately 12 noon. The return journey departs Darwin at 2pm, arriving at Wildman Wilderness Lodge at 4pm.
Rate: $125.00 per person, one way.
A minimum of 2 passengers is required to operate the transfer.
A private sedan transfer is available on request. Starting at $480.00 each way, the transfer provides a comfortable alternative for up to 4 passengers. Larger vehicles are available for more than 4 passengers, please contact our resevations department for an individual quote, based on your itinerary requirements.
Transfers are also available to Bark Hut Inn from a number of private transfer operators, or Greyhound Buses. From Bark Hut Inn, the Wildman team can collect guests at a cost of $30 per adult, or $15 per child (one way).
Air Transfers
Fixed wing and helicopter transfers are also available upon request. Transfers depart Darwin with full views of Darwin and the beautiful coastal areas, taking in the Adelaide and Mary River systems before landing at Wildman Wilderness Lodge approximately 30 minutes later.
Air transfers are on request and subject to weight restrictions.
